Brisket Taco Salad

Serves 4

6-8 Hours, 20 Minutes

  • 2 lbs grass-fed brisket (approximately 1/4-1/2 pound per person)
  • 1 jar salsa verde
  • Cotija cheese (shredded)
  • Optional toppings: Avocado, salsa verde. sour cream, red onion, cilantro, lime, shredded lettuce, spinach/romaine lettuce head

 

Put brisket meat in a slow cooker on medium for 6-8 hours with a very small amount of water and approximately 1/3 of the jar of salsa verde (cook until tender and easy to pull apart with a fork). Once the meat is done put in a lettuce wrap or on a bed of spinach and top with cheese and salsa and any other desired toppings!
