Turmeric Tea

Serves: 1

Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients: 

  • 2-3 small slices of fresh turmeric root
  • 2-3 small slices of fresh ginger root
  • 2-3 slices of lemon
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp raw local honey
  • 1 tiny pinch of black pepper

Directions:

In a small saucepan, put approximately 2 cups of water + all ingredients in and bring to a boil. Let steep with the lid on for approximately 5 minutes. Strain the tea into your cup to remove any floating pieces.
