Stayed Committed And Yes, Kind Of Sailed Through This, My First Healthy Fast.
In debating if I should give fasting a try. I thought Why not, just attempt 1 day, if it goes ok try 2 days. Nope. I made that commitment to myself, WITHOUT giving myself an out. It would be 3 days. I set myself up for success, making meals for family the day before I started the fast. Planned out what l'd do if I did get hungry (I'd WO, & drink water in its place). If necessary get outside away from the house. Checked with a couple crew mates concerning fasting. I was ready Here is what I noted, day 1, lemon/ACV water, 2-20 m WOS, stairs & an hour of PT/chiro, water & 2c of BPC & supps. Drank more water than I intended, not even hungry. Watched DLGS videos on fasting. Liver gullbladder support arrived decided to add this into fast. Day 2, lemon water/ACV, my 20m. WO, & an hour of PT/chiro rehab, stairs BPC with supps. I put the crock pot of vegie soup on for family. Spring cleaned like crazy C & about 3p.m. l thought that smells good. Stomach growled, just once, but I took care of it with water & doing my 2nd WO for this day. Made grocery list for next day. Right before bed stomach lightly rebelled again, so I just went to bed. Still not hungry. Day 3. Awoke, did 2-20m. WOS, & an hour of Pt/Chiro rehab, went to appt, got a WIN there... hit the stores to grab groceries. I made it through three of the four stores, had my list of needs crossing them off, when suddenly I strayed from my list putting additional stuff in my cart. The thought of eating tomorrow made me do it. but it was all DLG approved, GOTCHA! 900 I actually did it, Stayed committed, & yes kind of sailed through this, my first healthy fast. Ready to do it again.
