Off One Of My Diabetes Pills!

Went to the doctor yesterday. He hadn't seen me since I lost weight. He was extremely happy with 24 pounds lost. I told him my goal was to get off medicine. He said which ones? I said all of them. He laughed and said let's do it. A few hours later my results said my A1C was 5.6. I was floored. It has never been that low since I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. My results were great. He took me off one of the Diabetes pills and said...keep it up, only a few more pills to go! Can't say how much this program means to me. I needed this going into the Christmas weekend. No way am I going to let sugar derail me this weekend!
