Lifestyle Changes Have Been An Incredible Blessing

Lifestyle Changes Have Been An Incredible Blessing Lifestyle Changes Have Been An Incredible Blessing
Happy to be here in this Crew#55!! This is my 45th consecutive crew!! I'm NOT sorry I joined this lifestyle in the middle of the whole 2020 fiasco- in fact, making the lifestyle changes has been an incredible blessing!!! In Crew 22 l was a Livingood Daily Award winner and was recognized for my achievements and encouragement in the groups!! My husband has been supportive and also a Barry in the wee beginnings, but that was because he thought this was a money grabbing scheme and a fad thing! We all know these things do exist, but I was willing to give this a shot because Dr. L was saying a lot of things I inherently believed! I went on to prove my man's doubts in following the guides and putting in the work, better meal preparation and better food and working out consistently for the 10- min HIlT, learning all I could in the various Masterclasses put on by DLG, eventually, putting my husband's doubts in the virtual garbage! He has also been following his own health regimen by going to the gym and eating better. We've both lost weight and became the sizes we were when we were our fittest (when we got married 26 yrs ago) I fit into my wedding gown again for our 25th anniversary which was one of my best goals ever!!! He has worked very hard to meet his own personal weight and size goals! So sometimes it becomes a ripple effect when someone you love or cares about you, they follow along side! He was my first inspiration when he went through bariatric surgery in 2008 and got away from being nearly 500lbs!!! Seriously that was no easy task for him, and I saw how much he changed while I gradually gained weight!! I've been a little above my goal weight by about 10-15lbs lately. And I get on myself about that! I still need some encouragement too! ! was at my goal weight for some time...it's all willpower when it comes to that point of reaching a certain mark. And if you're not new to this, you all know how success can ruin success. I am not saying I've quit, or I don't have the right mindset any more, I may have gotten too comfortable and started to eat some bad foods. And so, as lifestyles go we keep trying and correct the trajectory going forward and not backwards! Sometimes I still have difficulty looking in the mirror thinking I'm obese. I have to remind myself I used to be way more heavier nearing 200lbs with a 5'1" frame! | came a long way and despite gaining some pounds back, I am not nearly as bad as I was way back when! On my personal profile page I have a reel of my weight loss in photos. Photos in this post of me and hubby recently! Let's get healthier together!!
