Hi everyone, I wanted to share a major win because I know it may be appreciated
in this group. I have been sugar-free since the start of the challenge. No soda, no sweets, no snacks, and no cheating. (l am just starting to use monk fruit sweetener). I've been traveling for work this week and wanted a Dr. Pepper so badly. I didn't give in to my craving. But the best part - I went to dinner alone for an evening meal and I decided I would 'reward' myself at the end of the meal with one of the amazing pieces of cake the restaurant was offering. Well, I finished my meal and thought to myself- nobody is coming for me - and the best reward is to not put toxic sugar into my body. So I paid and left. Now that doesn't seem like a big win. I don't have a weight issue and I don't have a blood sugar problem. I am just trying to be kinder to my body. While I was driving home I realized I have not had a headache/migraine since l started this challenge. (I have been hanging out for several challenges). I doubt this is a coincidence. I just wanted to drop in and say THANK YOU to this group and Dr. Livingood for your teachings. Know better, do better. And I am doing just that! Thanks for listening!
