Hello!! This is Sylvia aka Syl from Texas! Welcome newbies and fellow lifestyle members! I've been here since Crew 9 and have taken some time off. This is my third year anniversary following Dr Livingood's lifestyle and wanted to be here for Crew45 to motivate, provide any guidance and always learn as well as get motivation for YOU. On days when I struggle with anxiety, and/or depression everyone has always been supportive in this group. Initially, when I joined in Crew 9, I suffered from female/hormonal issues, gastrointestinal issues and food would always make me sick depression, anxiety, headaches, vertigo, addicted to sweets, particularly chocolate and was obese according to BMI charts. The weight loss was slow but I have lost 40lbs with an occasional on/off 5 lb gain but overall have maintained it through consistency and meal prep. Unfortunately, last year due to the virus, I developed inflammation that affected my joints and muscles as well as a formed a lipoma on my abdomen then suffered an unexpected miscarriage. Due to the knowledge learned from DLG, I was able to recover slowly while increasing my daily intake of DLG Vitamin C, D, Omegas + Turmeric and Berry Greens. It was a long journey and still have some setbacks, but I'm thankful for this lifestyle because I could have been worse if I was not following the lifestyle. I have made numerous friends on this journey and was challenge winner for Crew 15. So, I encourage everyone to never give on your goals, and not to compare yourself with anyone because we lose weight differently - some slow others fast.
