I Think About The 1% That I Am Doing Every Day
I have followed Dr. Livingood for several years. Read his books, listened to his podcasts, etc. Huge fan! But, only just now, did I join his Challenge. I joined to be a healthier me. No particular goal, except to live healthier. Thank you to everyone for answering questions and being so helpful! I started out slow. There is a wealth of information that can be overwhelming at times. I often take a step back and focus on the doctor's top 3 or 4 things. This is where I am at right now. I started with #1. I eliminated sugars and carbs from my food plan. I am buying healthier
food options and learning as I am going (it can be a little frustrating sometimes). I bought cashew butter, but then I realized it had cane sugar and safflower oil in it! I started buying my meats as DL recommended. Wait, is it supposed to be grass fed or organic? Both? Oh, geez! I can't find both. Which is more important? And then I come home and watch a DLG video. lol. And, oils. I have switched over to coconut oil and avocado oil. I have also perfected the Bullet coffee. I have NOT been drinking enough water, exercising or finding enough meditation time. I feel like I am way behind, but then I think about the 1% that I am doing every day. And I take every little goof up and look at it as a learning experience.
