I am super excited to see this achievement!
I am super excited to see this achievement pop up on my pedometer app! My step goal is 6,000. Some people maybe saying. "well that's below the recommended 10,000 steps." To tha I say, I finally got wise to set a goal that was achievable with purposeful determined effort and not a goal that was nearly impossible for me to achieve every day. Two and three years ago it was painful for me to even walk 3,000 steps a day! There were several months last year that it was painful to get the 6,000 but I persevered. I have walked hundreds of circles in my house t achieve my goal; I have walked laps in the mall and in Walmart when the weather was bad outside and I was out doing errands. (Much rather walk big circles versus small circles in my house.) I have had big achievement days these past 3 or 4 months, setting new record highs. My record high for a day, I think, is nearly 24,000 steps. Moral of story: Don't set a goal that is ridiculously high that it is discouraging because you can't consistently meet it. But rather set a goal that is challenging and can be met with effort (not a lazy goal though)!!
I am super excited to see this achievement!
